The name “Suichu Spica” embodies the meaning of a light shining brightly, like the pearl star (Spica:
the brightest star in Virgo), even under circumstances of darkness and distortion, such as being
underwater. It symbolizes the desire to correct distortion, bringing clarity and transparency.
Suichu Spica is exploring a brand new music style where the female guitar-vocalist uses a highly
sophisticated tapping technique on guitar while singing a catchy melody. Suichu Spica’s is aiming to
fuse the instrumental music with Japanese style rhythms into rock and pop music, building a bridge
that connects the genres and cultures through their music.
Their music is a groundbreaking fusion—seamlessly blending the elegance of traditional Japanese melodies with the raw energy of rock and the warmth of pop,
